Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was incredibly relaxing, nestled in the beautiful Almahue Valley. The accommodations were pleasant and the local hospitality was a highlight, especially the authentic Chilean food and wine. There’s so much to do, from horse riding to visiting wineries, making it great for both families and business retreats. However, the cleanliness of certain areas could be improved, and there's a need for a bit more attention to room details.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Almahue, nestled in the serene countryside, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. The 150-year-old farmhouse added to the charm, and we enjoyed the local hospitality and delicious food. While the accommodations were good, there were a few cleanliness issues that could use attention. Overall, this place offers great value for a peaceful retreat near Santiago.
We had a fantastic stay in a charming 150-year-old farmhouse nestled in the beautiful Almahue Valley. Experiencing genuine Chilean hospitality and local cuisine was a highlight, along with trying the exquisite wines from nearby vineyards. The location offers an abundance of activities, including horse riding and an indoor pool. However, while it was a wonderful weekend for our family, we found that the rooms could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness.
Staying at Hotel Almahue was a delightful experience, especially if you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside near Santiago. The owner, Cristian, truly embodies Chilean hospitality and went out of his way to make us feel at home while sharing local traditions and cuisine. We loved the variety of activities available for the whole family, like horse riding and an indoor pool. The only downside was that the carpets in our room could have used a bit of extra cleaning, but overall, it felt like great value for the experience we had.
I had a wonderful time at Hotel Almahue, nestled in the tranquil countryside. The blend of relaxation and local activities like yoga and horseback riding made my stay truly enjoyable. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, and I appreciated the homemade meals. However, cleanliness could be improved in the rooms, especially regarding the carpets and bed covers.
